Gemak is one of the first and leading ship maintenance repair and conversion yards in Turkey, which was established in 1969 in Golden Horn, Istanbul and transferred to Tuzla in 1981. Gemak Tuzla Shipyard employs around 1.000 employees and operates 1 Graving Dock (Gemak TGE) and 2 floating docks, supported by cranes of various capacities up to 150 T various land/dock cranes with lifting capacity up to 50 tons and machining, mechanic, pipe, sheet metal, electrical etc. workshops. Additionally, Gemak currently operates Gemak Altinova & Gemak Neta Factotires, that widely extend the yard's fabrication capacity and hence, project turnaround times.
